Alexandra Gellé

Enlighting

Here are some light-related fun facts extracted from random life encounters - because science doesn't only happen in labs.

🔹 The turquoise opaque water is due to orange and red-ish wavelengths being absorbed by tiny rock pieces brought into the water as glaciers melt.

🔹 Rainbows are due to light scattering of water. Obviously, the photo doesn't do them justice but they were gorgeous and almost full circle.
